The Smoky Caipirinhas will perform a lively afternoon set at the Queens Public Library – St. Albans Branch, featuring a mix of Brazilian rhythms, jazz standards, swing, bossa nova, and vintage American songbook classics. The duo blends piano, vocals, and a colorful set of percussion — including cajón, washboard, tamborim, and jazz brushes — into a musical journey inspired by sounds from around the world.
This event will take place at the St. Albans Branch of the Queens Public Library, located at 191-05 Linden Blvd, Saint Albans, NY 11412, on Friday, May 22nd from 2:30–3:30 PM. The performance is open to the public.
